- First of all, let’s process a Bitcoin Cash shared node. We need to open ‘Nodes’-’Shared nodes’ in the main menu that can be found on the landing page.
- Then, let’s search for Bitcoin Cash and open its tab by clicking ‘More info’.
- Then, we need to copy the URL of Bitcoin Cash mainnet API endpoint and paste it into the Postman terminal we use to demonstrate the opportunities of our APIs.
- Please, set ‘POST’ as the type of command and ‘x-api-key’ in the KEY field.
- To find the information about our API, let’s get back to our account on GetBlock. We need to copy the key from black box ‘API Key’.
- Then, we paste it into the ‘Value’ column of Postman and set ‘raw’ and JSON as the inputs for our request.
- As all parameters are set, now we need to copy the text of the request itself. Let’s get back to the ‘Documentation’ section of main menu and choose Bitcoin Cash.
- In the list of commands (right side of the screen), let’s find the ‘getblockchaininfo’ request and copy its text (starting from ‘data-raw’ string).
- Then, we need to paste it into the upper field and authorize the request by clicking ‘Send’. GetBlock reaches Bitcoin Cash and displays the information about the blockchain state.
